Ozark United Methodist Church is approaching a milestone in its rich history. Pastor Rod Kelley is retiring at the end of June and we'll be welcoming a new lead pastor in July. Events have been scheduled by the team to celebrate our history as well as Rod & Tricia's time with us. We will remember who we have been and we are called to be as we peer into the future with joy and anticipation. Click Here for important transition dates:

Trustee Work Day will be held this Saturday, May 17 from 1 - 6 p.m.  Tasks will include:  Replace floor tiles, buff floors, shampoo rugs, repair walls, install power strips, patch walls, repair coat racks, replace ceiling tiles, replace faucet, paint, wash windows, pickup rocks, change filters, scrub walls, fix dragging door, install metal shelf, cutting bricks (masonry saw needed), and more!  In appreciation a BBQ dinner will be open to all workers at 6 p.m.

A Chrysalis Flight is planned for July 9 - 12, 2008 at King’s Way United Methodist Church in Springfield.  Chrysalis is the teen version of The Walk to Emmaus and is targeted at those who have completed their freshman year of high school through the summer after their senior year.  For more information on attending or working this Flight, please see one of your local Emmaus board members: Phil Archer, Jerry Wampler, or Linda Moore.

On Sunday, June 22 we will have a Farewell Potluck Lunch for Pastor Rod & Tricia. This Sunday only, we will have a single worship celebration at 10:30 a.m.  Sunday school will precede it from 9 - 10 a.m. Following this special service, there will be a potluck dinner for everyone to enjoy.  Note:  June 22 will be Pastor Rod’s last day preaching.  The Bishop has requested that all the new pastors begin on June 29!
