Vision Statement
Ozark United Methodist Church is...
A Worshiping Community where lives are changed by Jesus
Christ, through dynamic spirit-filled services and meaningful small study
groups.
A Witnessing Community whose members are willing to do
whatever it takes to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have no
relationship with him.
A Supportive Community welcoming all persons into our
church family where we build significant relationships with others who are caring
, praying, encouraging, loving, laughing, and living together in true Christian
fellowship.
A Caring Community where the hurting, the depressed, the
frustrated, and the seeking can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness,
guidance, and encouragement.
A Learning Community where new believers are helped to
identify their gifts and talents and then are formed into followers, then
disciples, then ministers in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
A Growing Community, that provides a full range of
Christian experiences promoting physical, mental, and spiritual health.
A Serving Community that responds to the needs of our
neighbors locally and throughout the world.
An Envisioning Community that will respond to a growing
congregation with a campus large enough to accommodate our present and future
needs. This may include beautiful, yet simple facilities including a worship
center, a counseling and prayer center, adequate classroom space, and a
recreation facility all set in a peaceful, inspiring garden landscape.
